The frog and the Princess sat down on the sand
And looked at the big golden ring on her hand
They'd been out all night and had drunk too much grog
And now the poor Princess is Mrs. Fred Frog.

She thought if she kissed him he'd turn to a King,
A Prince or a soldier or some other thing.
