Magic Numbers Trick

G'day Cobber,

I am going to show you how to amaze your friends with a neato Magic Numbers trick but you have to promise not to tell anyone how it is done, OK ?

First you should print the pick a number sheet onto A4 paper or light white board (if your printer is out of ink, like mine, you can copy the page neatly by hand).

Ask a friend to think of a number between one and sixty three and have him/her write it secretly on a piece of paper.

Ask your friend to tell you all of the columns, on the pick a number sheet, that their number appears in.

Without your friend knowing, add up the top numbers of each of the selected columns and the total will be the number your friend thought of.

Amazing but please don't tell anyone, will you ?
