How
A
bubble
bath
in
almost
any
fragrance
that
you
care
to
choose.
You
can
have
jaffa
(chocolate
and
orange),
rose,
strawberry
or
many
other
scents
available
in
the
fragrant
or
essential
oils
and
they
are
not
all
that
expensive.
Your
supermarket,
department
store
and
various
budget
shops
should
stock
a
variety
of
bottles
for
your
bubble
bath.
For
your
safety,
though,
I
would
suggest
that
you
select
plastic
rather
than
glass
unless
it
is
to
be
a
very
special
gift
for
an
adult.In
my
batch
I
used
some
colourful
plastic,
squirty
sauce
bottles.
There
are
many
types
of
attractive
stoppered
bottles
available
if
your
bubble
bath
is
for
an
adult
gift.

You
will need
- Non
perfumed washing up detergent
concentrate (the no brand
kind.)
- Fragrant
or Essential Oil of your
choice.
- Food
Colouring.
(see
note)
How
to make
Select
the amount that you wish
to make and be sure that
you have a mixing container
large enough to hold it.
Pour
a small amount of the detergent
into the container and mix
well with the fragrant oil
and a few drops of your chosen
food colour. You just want
to gently colour the mixture,
not the bath water.
Continue
mixing as you slowly add
more detergent. This will
ensure that the fragrance
and colour are fully blended
into the solution. |

How
to use your bubble bath
Before
running your bubble bath
take a damp cloth, put a
little bubble bath on it
and wipe out the tub then
rinse it.
Soap
will make your bubbles weaker
and this is to get rid of any
soap residue.
Put
a big squirt of bubble bath
solution just under the tap
and squirt on some warm water
to get it frothing. Then run
the water, at your desired
temperature, as fast as you
can until the bath is ready.
Note:
Fragrant
or Essential Oil:
You
don't want
to overdo
the fragrance
and the
different
styles
you can
buy differ
greatly
in strength
so, initially,
add less
Fragrance
than you
think you
will need
and then
repeat
the whole
process
with a
little
more if
required.
This
will also
give you
a better
blend.
Food
Colouring: Start
with just a couple of drops
as you are only trying to add
a little colour to your mixture,
not the water in the bath or
you. |
