Grandpa Pencil's
Recipe for
Savoury Mold

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons Gelatine
  • 625 ml Beef Stock
  • 2 teaspoons Dried Parsley Flakes
  • 125g Cooked Peas

  • 125g Diced Corned Beef
  • 125g Diced Salami
  • 1 Sliced Cucumber
  • 2 Sliced Hard Boiled Eggs
  • 1 Chopped Tomato
 

You will need
A ring mold, a sharp knife, a cutting board and some fresh lettuce
 

Directions
  • Soak the gelatine in a little cold water and add to the beef stock and parsley and mix well as the heat dissolves the gelatine
  • Pour half of your gelatine mixture into a ring mold and refrigerate to set

  • When set arrange the peas, corned beef, salami, cucumber, eggs and tomato around the mold on the set gelatine
  • Pour on the rest of the gelatine mix and chill to set
  • Turn out the set mold onto a bed of lettuce
