- To the mixing bowl add the minced lamb, finely chopped bacon, 1 finely chopped onion and finely chopped red capsicum along with 1 egg
- Add salt and pepper to taste along with the Worcestershire sauce
- Thoroughly mix with clean hands
- Shape into patties the size of your selected rolls
- Set aside, covered, in fridge to chill for an hour or so
- Make a gravy, to taste, and pour into a shallow baking dish
- Cook patties in a lightly oiled frying pan to your taste

- Place into the gravy and then into a low oven to amalgamate the tastes
- Halve your buns and toast lightly, on the outsides only, to enhance the flavour of the crust and seeds
- Place the bottom half of each bun, buttered, on a plate, put a patty on each and pour over a little of the gravy
- Top with slices of beetroot, onion, orange and tomato and finish off with the buttered bun top
- Serve with crisp, hot potato chips
- Adjust contents to suit number of burgers required
