Ingredients

- 200g Self Raising Flour
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 ml melted Butter or Oil
|

- 125ml Tepid Water
- 1 Egg White
|
|
You will need
A sifter, a wooden spoon, a bowl and a beater
|

Directions
|
- Sift flour and salt into a bowl
- Make a well in the middle
- Pour in oil or butter
- Stir flour in slowly with the back of a wooden spoon
|
|
- Add water a little at a time
- Beat into a smooth batter
- Beat egg white stiffly
- Stir in just before using
- Add 1 tablespoon caster sugar for sweet batter
