Ingredients

- 30g Butter
- 750g Minced Steak
- 1 large Onion
- 1 Green Apple
- 1 small red or green Capsicum
- 2 tablespoons Sweet Mango Chutney

- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon Curry Powder
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1 packet dry Vegetable Soup
- 600 ml Water

You will need
A good sized frying pan, a sharp knife and cutting board, a mixing bowl, a wooden spoon and loads of fluffy white rice

Directions

- Peel and rough chop onion and apple
- Seed and rough chop capsicum
- Heat butter in a frying pan and add onion, apple and capsicum
- when partly cooked add the mince and stir until the meat changes colour then reduce the heat
- Blend the chutney, curry and lemon juice with a little of the water and add to the meat and veggies in the pan

- Simmer gently to merge the flavours
- Add remaining water and soup and bring to the boil
- Reduce the heat and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes until the ingredients are tender and the liquid is reduced
- Serve on a bed of fluffy white rice
