Ingredients

- 2 X 425 g cans Asparagus Spears or Cuts
- 60 g butter
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese

- 1/2 cup grated Cheddar Cheese
- 1 cup fresh Bread crumbs
- Salt and Pepper to taste

You will need
A saucepan, a strainer and a small casserole dish
|

Directions

- Melt the butter and pour half into the casserole dish
- Drain the asparagus
- Place half of the asparagus into the casserole dish
- Cover with half of the grated cheeses
- add salt and pepper to taste
- Place the other half of the asparagus on top
|

- Cover with the other half of the grated cheeses
- Top with bread crumbs and spoon over the remaining butter
- Bake in a preheated moderate oven (Approx. 180 c) for around 20 minutes until the cheese has melted and the bread crumbs are a rich golden colour
