Ingredients

- 250 g Minced Beef
- 60 g Butter
- 1 Onion
- 3 Eggs
|

- 375 g grated semi-firm Cheese
- 3 tablespoons Water
- 11/2 teaspoons Salt
- Pepper to taste

You will need
A frying pan with lid, a mixing bowl, an egg whisk and a wooden spoon
|

Directions

- Heat the butter in the frying pan and fry the beef quickly whilst breaking up the lumps
- Finely chop the onion and add to the pan
- Add salt and pepper to taste
- Beat the eggs and water together and stir in all but 1/2 cup of the grated cheese
- stir into the pan mixture

- Spread out evenly and firm down
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top
- Put a lid on the frying pan and cook over a moderate heat for around ten minutes
- Turn the beefcake out onto a plate.
- Return it to the right side up onto another plate
