Ingredients

- 250g Long Grain Rice
- 2 large Onions
- 30g Butter
|

- 300g can Asparagus Tips
- 2 tablespoons Chopped Parsley
- 2 tablespoons French Dressing
|

You will need
A sharp knife, a cutting board, wooden spoon, a frying pan, a rice strainer, a large saucepan and a serving dish

Directions

- Boil the rice
- Finely dice one of the onions
- Strain the cooked rice
- Mix the finely chopped onion in with the rice while still warm
- Roughly chop the other onion
|

- Heat butter in the pan
- Sauté the chopped onion until soft but not brown
- Drain the asparagus
- Empty the cooled rice into the serving dish and add the sautéed onion, dressing, asparagus and parsley
- Season to taste and toss lightly
